After-school workshops

Created in 1995 by the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum, the Chahut-Couleurs workshop is a weekly artistic event offered for children aged 6 to 11. Funded by the City of Albi As part of extracurricular activities, this workshop allows for a creative immersion in the world of the museum.

  • The sessions take place every Wednesday morning from 10am to 11:30am, from October 1, 2025 to May 6, 2026, excluding school holidays.

An artistic journey through the museum

The theme for the year 2025–2026  "The Toulouse-Lautrec Museum:"
a palace, collections invites children to explore the museum in all its facets, starting with the Berbie Palace, majestic building which houses the museum whose architecture and history they will discover.

Throughout the year, the participating children will go to meet the museum collectionsby developing their perspective and their meaning of creation through various techniques :

  • Collection of ancient art : introduction to sketching
  • Collection Toulouse Lautrec : exploration of the female portrait, illustration and poster
  • Modern art collection : work around still life and landscape

Presentation of the creations

Two key events will punctuate the year: a presentation of the work will be offered to parents before the Christmas holidays and then at the end of the school year. A great opportunity for children to to share their progress and discoveries.

Practical information

  • Public: children from 6 to 11 years old
  • Schedule: Every Wednesday morning, from 10am to 11:30am (excluding school holidays)
  • Prices: free for children residing in Albi, €75 per year for non-residents
