Allow 1.5 to 2 hours to explore the museum's permanent collections (Toulouse-Lautrec collection, collection of ancient and modern art). Allow an additional hour for temporary exhibitions.

The visit time is of course specific to each individual and can be adjusted within the limits of opening hours.

A cloakroom is available on the ground floor of the museum. You can leave your personal belongings and small bags there.

Only pencil drawing is permitted in the galleries, provided it does not obstruct the view or movement of other visitors. Walking stick seats are available for visitors.

Photography in a private setting is permitted without flash in the museum galleries. The use of selfie sticks and tripods is prohibited.

You cannot eat or drink in the museum rooms.

Furthermore, the museum does not have a picnic area. In good weather, the banks of the Tarn below the Berbie Palace are available for picnics.

On days when the museum is closed (January 1st, May 1st, November 1st, December 25th, and every Monday from October 1st to May 31st), the palace gardens remain accessible. Opening hours may vary from those on regular days. You can refer to the times listed on the Berbie Palace Google page or consult our social media. We post any special opening hours there a few days in advance.

Only guide dogs and assistance dogs are allowed in our establishment.

The entire visitor route is accessible to wheelchair users. Lifts and elevators allow access between the different levels and floors. A loaner wheelchair is also available upon request at the museum reception desk, but reservations are not possible.

The drop-off area for tour and school group coaches is located on Boulevard Sibille (located in the city centre, next to the war memorial and near Place Lapérouse, less than a 10-minute walk from the museum).
